Today I share with you the story of Lee, who recently underwent a full shoulder replacement.
Lee has trained with us for over 8 years.
A few years back, he started noticing grinding in his shoulder. At first, it didn’t affect his day-to-day life much—but gradually, the pain increased, his range of motion decreased, and he could no longer move freely.
A scan revealed severe degeneration. Surgery was the only option.
After a couple of months post-op recovery with his consultant and physio, Lee returned to us with very limited shoulder mobility. In fact, he struggled to raise his arm overhead—just look at the first progress photo.
That’s when our real work began.
Our goal? Restore range, build strength, and gradually reintroduce challenge in a safe, structured way.
Now, six months later, Lee has made huge strides in shoulder function. We’re still working on shoulder movement and strength but the progress so far speaks for itself.
